Back in NIE. Have been going back to school for the past three days, each day for a 2-hour tutorial. How wonderful. >_<
There is this math assignment which we are supposed to complete. Sian. Well well, I shall be a good girl and complete it. Can't wait to throw away my notes and stuff. Haha. I think I'll be so sad if I see similar comments on my students' blogs (e.g. I can't wait to throw away msli's notes and get out of her class). Well well, my retribution will come one day. On the other hand, I still have my jc notes and uni notes with me. So you see, I'm very selective as to what kind of notes I want to keep. If I find the content useful, or if it contains some knowledge which I have devoted much time and energy in understanding, I am likely to keep the notes. Anyway, my NIE notes are mostly printed on recycle paper (haha, meaning I've already decided to throw them away since Day 1, but as a good student, I still bother to print them out and bring them to class).
My sharing of experience at NY turned out to be some advertising session for the school. Somehow, I made the students sound like angels (ok lah, I think they are cute and motivated) and the school sound like some heaven. Haha. But seriously, I was happy there, despite having to leave school after 5pm everyday and going back on Saturday for remedial and SMO.
Gifts from my angels:
One bought me a penguin...
And lastly, there's this magnet from math department which every math teacher will get one:
Anyway, I'm making use of this period to revise my uni math and train up my SMO. :)
I wonder how my students are coping in school. Should I go back and give my 308 some remedial during the holidays. Sigh. Thinking of how to decorate my new table at the staff room. Haha. Shall bring along my doraemon mug, cushion, and the gifts from angels. Place some empty files there as well? I think they'll be filled up in no time.
